day of June, 1909.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Grey Lynn Borough Council has made
application to the Minister of Finance for a Govern-
ment guarantee of a loan of thirty-two thousand five hun-
dred pounds for the purpose of cutting and formation of
roads, drainage and water extension, and other matters,
pursuant to section three of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans
Amendment Act, 1908 ” :

And whereas the Minister of Finance is satisfied that a
special rate has been made sufficient to pay the interest,
sinking fund, and other charges in respect of the said loan,
and that the said Council is duly empowered to raise such
loan, and has taken all the necessary steps to obtain the
same, as required by section seven of the said Act, and it
appears expedient to grant the said application :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,

Declaring Land to be subject to Part I of “ The Native
Land Settlement Act, 1907.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth
day of June, 1909.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section four of “ The Native Land Settle-
ment Act, 1907,” it is enacted that, when and as
often as the Commission referred to therein has reported to
the Governor that any Native land is not required for occu-
pation by the Maori owners, and is available for sale or
leasing, it shall be lawful for the Governor by Order in
Council to declare that such land shall be subject to Part I
of the said Act as from the date of such Order, and the same
shall thereupon become, and at all times thereafter remain,
subject to the said Part I of the said Act accordingly : And
whereas the said Commission has reported that the Native
lands specified in the Schedule hereto are not required for
occupation by the Maori owners, and are available for sale or
leasing :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers in
this behalf vested in him by the aforesaid section four, His
Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council thereof, doth hereby declare that the Native lands
specified in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date of
this Order, be subject to Part I of “ The Native Land Settle-
ment Act, 1907.”


SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
28 acres and 34 perches, more or less, situated in the Kumeu
Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and
known as Maroroa Block. Bounded towards the east by
Parekura Block, towards the south-east by Oneonenui Block,
and towards the west and north-west by unadjudicated
Native land.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
1,000 acres, more or less, situated in the Tauhoa Survey
District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as
Kakaraiea Block. Bounded towards the north-east by the
Kaipara Harbour, towards the east and south generally by
the Taupo Native Reserve and the Kaipara Harbour afore-
said, and towards the north-west by Okahukura No. 1 Block ;
including six small islands in the Kaipara Harbour lying to
the north-east of the land within described.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
1,012 acres 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, situated in the
Kaipara Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland,
and known as Tuhirangi A No. 2 Block. Bounded towards
the north by the Araparera Block, towards the east by the
Makarau Block, towards the south by Tuhirangi B, Tuhi-
rangi A No. 1, and again by Tuhirangi B Block, and towards
the west by the Kaipara Estuary.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
164 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, situated in the
Hukatere Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland,
and known as Ohauroa A Block. Bounded towards the
north by the Arapawa River, towards the east by the Kawau
Block, towards the south by the Kawau Creek, Native land,
and the Kirikiri Creek, and towards the west by Ohauroa
B Block and the Otakere Creek.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
82 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, situated in the
Hukatere Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland,
and known as Ohauroa B Block. Bounded towards the
north by the Otakere Creek, towards the east by Ohauroa
A Block, towards the south generally by the Kirikiri Creek
and Section 7, Block II, Hukatere Survey District, and
towards the north-west by a public road and Ohauroa C
Block.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
164 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, situated in the
Hukatere Survey District, in the Land District of Auck-
land, and known as Ohauroa C Block. Bounded towards
the north by the Te Ihu Mapuna Block, towards the east by
the Otakere Creek, towards the south-east by Ohauroa B
Block and a public road, towards the south-west by Section 6,
Block II, Hukatere Survey District, and towards the west
by the Okorako Creek.

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement
14,138 acres, more or less, situated in the Te Kuri, Huka-
tere, North Head, and Okaka Survey Districts, in the Land
District of Auckland, and known as Pouto No. 2E No. 10,
