rester, near Windsor, New South Wales, Australia, Builder,
and WILLIAM DRYSDALE, of 64 Castlereagh Street, Sydney,
New South Wales aforesaid, Accountant. An improved non-
refillable bottle.
Claims.—(1.) An improved non-refillable bottle having a
stopper-plug (B), provided with an annular under-collar
and comprising a seating for a ball contained within down-
wardly convergently situated and taper-shaped chamber
of said device, which chamber has barrier pieces above it,
substantially as described and illustrated.

Bars for reinforcing concrete.
Extract from Specification.—My invention consists princi-
pally in forming the ends of such members so that an eccen-
trically bent portion and an enlarged or flanged portion ter-
minating short of the ends of the middle portion.
Claims.—An elbow above, the demarcation is increased in place
of the claim.

London, S.W., England, Manufacturer. Improvements in
droppers and standards.
Claims.—(1.) A dropper or standard with depressions in
its upper surface for supporting a horticultural plant and pro-
vided as set forth. (2.) A dropper or standard, the strength
whereof is increased as a number of depressions are formed in
its upper surface to decrease the surface-tension, and which device
is substantially as described. (3.) A dropper as specified, having
a number of depressions formed in its edge by crushing or
forches, in portions thereof.

No. 25827.—19th April, 1909.—SAMUEL SUTTON, of Upper
Rock, California Gully, Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, En-
gineer-Surveyor. Improvements in the hydraulic excavation
of percussive rock-drilling and the like machines.
Claims.—(1.) In a hydraulic cutter, the internal and larger
conical arrangements, the date approved for each—same as last.
(2.) The use of the cone C, as and for the Commonwealth of
Australia.
Claims.—(1.) In percussive rock-drilling and the like
machines, in combination, a cylinder, a piston of uniform
diameter throughout, a valve and means for equally open-
ing both exhaust ports and equally closing both supply and
full exhaust, substantially as and for the purposes set forth.
(2.) In percussive rock-drilling and the like machines, in com-
bination, a cylinder, a piston of uniform diameter throughout,
a valve of equal area to the piston and the means for equal-
ly at its extremities and allowing exhaust to take place at its
extremities, substantially as and for the purposes set forth.
