And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THEODORE HENRY WALKER,
SEPTIMUS DE SEPTIMO HAWKINS,
CLAUDE CLINTON DYSART,
WILLIAM NANKIVILLE, and
THOMAS HENRY ROXBURGH
to be the Whananaki Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolhouse, Whananaki, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WHANANAKI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Section 26, Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey District, Whangarei County. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 25 of Block IX aforesaid, 1116·7 links; towards the south-east by a road reserve of varying width, 1686·6 and 1199·2 links; towards the south-west by Spithill’s Block, 1126·1 links; and towards the north-west by a road reserve of varying width, 179·1 and 2440·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1162, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of Te Arai Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of May, 1909.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nine, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

to be a Domain Board, having the control of Te Arai Domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolroom, Te Arai, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

TE ARAI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in Cook County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres and 26 perches, more of less, being Section No. 21, Block V, Turanganui Survey District (Te Arai Settlement). Bounded towards the north by Sections Nos. 12 to 19, Block V, Turanganui Survey District (Te Arai Settlement); towards the east by the Manutuke Block; towards the south by Section No. 28 of the said Block V; and towards the west by the Pakowhai Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19369¹/46B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under Part II of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.”

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Manunui Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
MANUNUI DOMAIN, WEST TAUPŌ COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 54 acres, more or less, being Section No. 15, Manunui Village. Bounded towards the north-west and the north generally by the Wanganui River Bank Reserve, towards the south-east by Section No. 14 of said village, and towards the south generally by public roads; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. & S. 58307/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice of Intention to exchange a Reserve in Rangataua Township, Wellington Land District, for other Land.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to make, change, exchange, or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule of the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred and twenty-one of “The Land Act, 1908,” if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” aforesaid, declare my intention to exchange the reserve described in the first column of the Schedule hereto for the lands described in the second column of the said Schedule.
