ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of May, 1909.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of “The Native Land Settlement Act, 1907,” it is enacted that, when and as often as the Commission referred to therein has reported to the Governor that any Native land is not required for occupation by the Maori owners, and is available for sale or leasing, it shall be lawful for the Governor by Order in Council to declare that such land shall be subject to Part I of the said Act as from the date of such Order, and the same shall thereupon become, and at all times thereafter remain, subject to the said Part I of the said Act accordingly: And whereas the said Commission has reported that the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto are not required for occupation by the Maori owners, and are available for sale or leasing.
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers in this behalf vested in him by the aforesaid section four, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby declare that the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date of this Order, be subject to Part I of “The Native Land Settlement Act, 1907.”

All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 457 acres 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, situated in the Orahiri Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as Hauturu East E No. 2, Section 7B. Bounded towards the north-east by Sections 5 and 5A, Block VIII, of the said survey district; towards the north-west by Sections 14 and 13, Block VII, of the said survey district; and towards the south generally by the Orahiri River and the Hauturu East C No. 2B Block.
All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 106 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, situated in the Awakino East Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as Karuotewhenua B No. 2B No. 2. Bounded towards the north-east by Karuotewhenua B No. 2B No. 5A Block, 4904·2 links; on the south-east and south-west by Karuotewhenua B No. 2B No. 5B, 2991·3 links and 21460 links respectively; and on the west by the Mangaotaki River.
