Landstaken for a Road in Block II, Awahitu Survey
District, Awahitu Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been acquired, to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1908,” as a public work, to wit, for the purposes of a
road, as set forth in a Proclamation dated
And whereas the Awahitu Road Board has laid before the
Governor a petition to vest in it the said land, subject to the
statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested
by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby, by this Proclamation, give notice that on the date
of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the
lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for
the purposes of a road.

above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor at Auckland, Wellington, or the Wellington Land
District.

Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Gov
ernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over

Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of
said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this 3rd day of March, in the year
of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
seven.

District, Waipu County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section twenty-one of “The Public
Works Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor
may from time to time set apart for any public work
the Governor may, by Act, grant or by Proclamation,
declare, that the land so set apart shall vest in any local body
complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect
of the land, as he may by grant or by Proclamation, in that
purpose:
And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
has been taken by Proclamation as a public work, “The
Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain public work, to wit,
for the purposes of a road, in Block IX, Waitapu Survey
District:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
“The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
“The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron
Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the area of land
and frontage of the land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto, which has been taken under “The Land Act,
1908,” as a public road, in Block XI, Ma’chera-iti Survey District,
proclaimed in the road the land in Ma’chera-iti Survey District,
described in the Schedule hereto.
