PURSUANT to "The Mining Act, 1908," the undersigned, Louis Phillipe Cabot, of Omakau, farmer, hereby applies for a license for a dry race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Date and number of miner's right: 27th March, 1909; No. 75603.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Commencing at a point in dry race applied for by applicant this day in Section 46, Block III, Lauder Survey District, occupied by Mr. Joseph Charles, about 16 chains north of county road to Lauder, and running in a southeasterly direction through said section, crossing said county road, and terminating in Section 49, same block and district, occupied by applicant.
Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 4 p.m. on 10th April, 1909.

Length and intended course of race: 20 chains; southeasterly.
Points of intake: Commencing-point only.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Already constructed.
Mean depth and breadth: 1 ft. by 1 ft.
