appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board,
having, subject to the said Act, control of any public
domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nine,
the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
provisions of Part II of the said Act :

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the said domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE PAPAKURA TOWN BOARD

to be the Pahurehure Domain Board, having the control of
the domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ;
and doth hereby appoint Monday, the seventh day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and nine, at half past seven
o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Library, Papakura,
as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall
be held.

SCHEDULE.

PAHUREHURE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Manukau County, Auckland Land District,
being part of Section 2, Town of Papakura (Block IV,
Drury Survey District), and containing by admeasurement
2 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less. Bounded towards
the north-west by Queen Street, 400 links; towards the
north-east by Wood Street, 700 links; towards the south-
east by Elliott Street, 400 links; and towards the south-
west by Green Street, 700 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. 1166, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Otago Land District brought under
Part II of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth
day of April, 1909.

Present :

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-sixth section of “The Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that
the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land District
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is
hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be
subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and
such reserve shall hereafter be known as Waipahi Domain,
and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain.

SCHEDULE.

WAIPAHI DOMAIN, CLUTHA COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or
less, being Section No. 14, Block VII, Town of Waipahi.
Bounded towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 12 and 13,
Block VII, Town of Waipahi, 500 links, and by Derwent
Street, 231 links; towards the south-east by a road-line,
878 links and 210·3 links; towards the south-west by said
road, 180·5 links; and towards the north-west by said road,
264·5 links, 315·1 links, and by railway reserve, 410·2 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is
delineated on the plan marked L. 1199, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Present :

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
have been permanently reserved for the purposes
specified in the last column of the said Schedule :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is
expedient that the said lands should be vested in the
Rangitikei County Council :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day
of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule
hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the Rangitikei County, in trust, as
reserves for the purposes specified in the last column of
the said Schedule.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been permanently reserved for the improvement
and protection of the Opawa River :

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said reserve in the Lower Wairau River
Board :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day
of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto shall become vested in the Lower Wairau River
Board, in trust, for the improvement and protection of the
Opawa River.

by admeasurement 23 acres 3 roods 25 perches, more or less,
