Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Wellington Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by "The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908," it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by "The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908," aforesaid, declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column of the said Schedule to that named in the third column of the said Schedule.

Subdivisions of Oyster-fisheries set apart for Picking and Sale of Oysters under "The Fisheries Act, 1908."
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by Warrant dated the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the sixteenth day of the same month, certain subdivisions of the Auckland and the Northern Oyster-fisheries were set apart for the picking and sale of oysters:
And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said Warrant of the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and to set apart other subdivisions of the said oyster-fisheries for the picking and sale of oysters:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by the fifth and fortieth sections of "The Fisheries Act, 1908," do hereby revoke the said Warrant of the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and do hereby declare that the subdivisions of the Auckland and Northern Oyster-fisheries, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, are hereby set apart for the picking and sale of oysters under section forty of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
Auckland Oyster-fishery.—All the subdivisions as prescribed by Warrants dated the eleventh day of April and the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
Northern Oyster-fishery.—The Southern Subdivision, which shall include all bays, estuaries, and tidal waters between a point on high-water mark of the sea due east of Trig. Station No. 29 on the south head of Whangaruru Harbour and Ti Point, being the south side of the entrance to the River Waitangi, in the Bay of Islands.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Victor Thomas McNamara, of Murchison, to be Returning Officer to conduct the first election of members of the Council of the County of Murchison, and also to be the Clerk of the Council of the said county for the purpose of presiding at the first meeting thereof.
