SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF LOWER HUTT AND TO BE INCLUDED IN BOROUGH OF PETONE.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of Allotment No. 26 of Section No. 16, Block XIII, Belmont Survey District, bounded towards the north-west by the Wellington-Masterton Railway Reserve, towards the north-east by Everest's Road, towards the south-east by the Hutt Road, and towards the south by the present boundary between the Borough of Lower Hutt and Petone.
Approximate area: Three-quarters of an acre.

THE following special order, made by the Waipipi Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1908."
WAIPAPI ROAD DISTRICT.
THE following special order was made at a special meeting of the Waipipi Road Board held on Saturday, the 13th February, 1909, and confirmed at a meeting held on Saturday, the 13th March, 1909:-
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908,” the Waipipi Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £195, authorised to be raised by the Waipipi Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for completing the metalling of the main Waipipi Road, and metalling or shelling the Waipipi Creamery-Wharf Road, the said Waipipi Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable property of No. 4 Sub-division, Waipipi Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above special order was made in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

WAIMATE WEST COUNTY COUNCIL.
Copy of Special Order in re £370 Loan for Lower Normanby Road, 14th January, 1909.
It was proposed by T. A. Bridge, seconded by T. McPhillips, and carried,-
That the prayer of the petition of the ratepayers of the Lower Normanby Road Special-rating District be acceded to, and the Waimate West County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £370 for the purpose of metalling a part of the unmetalled portion of the Lower Normanby Road within the Waimate Riding of the Waimate West County.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and “The Counties Act, 1908,” the Waimate West County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £370, authorised to be raised by the said County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of metalling a portion of the unmetalled part of the Lower Normanby Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Lower Normanby Special-rating District, comprising Sections 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, Block VI, Waimate Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be paid is to be at the rate of 3½ per cent. per annum. The cost of raising the loan is to be paid out of the loan.

That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and “The Counties Act, 1908,” the Waimate West County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £350, authorised to be raised by the Waimate West County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of metalling a portion of the unmetalled part of the Kearin Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅜d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Kearin Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 14, Block III, and 115, 116, 118, 119, 120, Block VII, Waimate Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be paid is to be at the rate of 3½ per cent. per annum. The cost of raising the loan is to be paid out of the loan.

That the prayer of the ratepayers of Taikatu Road be granted, and the Waimate West County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £600 for the purpose of metalling a portion of the unmetalled part of the Taikatu Road within the southern subdivision of the Waimate Riding of the Waimate West County.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and its amendments, and “The Counties Act, 1908,” the Waimate West County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorised to be raised by the Waimate West County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of metalling portion of the Taikatu Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅝d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Taikatu Road Special-rating District, comprising Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 45, 47, 58, 60, and parts of 31 and 32, Block I, Sections 33 and parts 32 and 34, Block V, Waimate Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The interest to be paid is to be at the rate of 3½ per cent. per annum. The cost of raising the loan is to be paid out of the loan.
