Trustees for the Whangamomona Public Cemeteries appointed.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrant of the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, appointing Trustees for the Whangamomona Public Cemetery, and appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 9 perches, more or less, being Section No. 24, Block I, Mahoe Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 25, Block I, Mahoe Survey District, 905·1 links; towards the north-east by the Whangamomona Road, 340·7 links and 148·8 links; towards the south generally by Section No. 12, Block I, Mahoe Survey District, 1333·3 links; and towards the west by town reserve (Whangamomona), 130 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L, and S. 52111, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
WHANGAMOMONA NORTH.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres, more or less, being Section No. 10, Block I, Mahoe Survey District. Bounded towards the east by Prospect Road, 1690·8 links; towards the south by a township reserve, 925·8 links; and towards the west by Section No. 11, Block I aforesaid, 1577·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1590, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. |

Volunteer Regulations amended.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Defence Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke Regulation 3, (2), (b), of the General Regulations of the Defence Forces of New Zealand, made on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same date (including all amendments thereof made prior to the date of this Warrant), and in lieu thereof do hereby make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect, and the regulation hereby made shall come into force, on the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nine.
SCHEDULE.
(1.) REGULATION 3, (2), Volunteers, (b), New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers, of the General Regulations, as amended on the 20th day of October, 1906, and the 6th day of August, 1907, is hereby revoked, and the following regulation substituted in lieu thereof:—

The several companies of the regiment of New Zealand Garrison Artillery Volunteers in Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago shall be formed into divisions, and be styled the Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago Divisions of Garrison Artillery Volunteers.
The several companies shall be numbered in order of seniority in the division to which they belong.
This establishment provides for an electric-light section, which will be formed in each company of Garrison Artillery Volunteers where necessary, and will consist of 1 lieutenant, 1 sergeant, 1 corporal, 2 bombardiers, and 6 gunners, to be employed as electricians and engine-drivers.
Note.—In no case shall an officer be promoted to the rank of Major until he has at least seven years’ commissioned service.

IN exercise and pursuance of the power and authority conferred by “The Defence Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby constitute and appoint
Captain EDWARD HENRY CLARK, Palmerston South Rifle Volunteers;
THOMAS MUIR, Esq., Palmerston South; and
HUGH O’NEILL, Esq., Palmerston South,
to be Trustees of all that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 3 roods, more or less, situate in the Town of Palmerston South, and being Sections Nos. 5, 6, and 7 of Block XVII
