THAMES COUNTY.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road from the Main Kauaeranga Valley Road to the Thames County Water-race in the Thames County, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the office of the Thames County Council, in Mary Street, Shortland, Thames, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of such land, set forth in writing such objections, and within forty days from the first publication of this notice send such writing to the Thames County Council at its office situated at Mary Street, Shortland, Thames.

“THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908,” SECTION 266, SUBSECTION (3).

IT having been reported to me that the undermentioned companies have ceased to carry on business, I hereby give notice that at the expiration of three months from this date the names of such companies will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the Register, and the companies will be dissolved.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned HAROLD ALLCHURCH and LEON LAURENTI, carrying on business at Main Street, Gore, as Hardware Merchants, under the style or firm of “Allchurch and Laurenti,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Harold Allchurch, who will continue the said business under the style or firm of “H. Allchurch and Co.”

“THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1908,” AND “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.”

IN pursuance of the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland hereby gives notice that it intends to widen a portion of Symonds Street, in the City of Auckland, and do all works and things incidental thereto; and that, for the purpose and object of so doing, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required and will require to be taken by the said Corporation under the provisions of the above Acts; and that a survey has been made and a plan prepared, signed by John Strauchon, Chief Surveyor, and numbered 14813, showing such land, together with the names of the owners and occupiers thereof so far as they can be ascertained; and that a copy of such plan has been deposited in the office of the Town Clerk of the said Corporation, at the Corporation Office, Coburg Street, in the City of Auckland, the place directed by the Corporation, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the 16th day of March, 1909 (being the date of the first publication of this notice), to the Town Clerk, Auckland.
