NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between THOMAS SHAW and WILLIAM ERNEST SETH WOOD as Bacon-curers, under the style of “The Dainticure Bacon Company,” at Hastings, is hereby dissolved as from the 22nd day of February, 1909. The business will be carried on by William Ernest Seth Wood, who will receive all debts due to the partnership and discharge all debts due by the same.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as Sheep-farmers, at Pouawa, in the District of Poverty Bay, under the style or firm of “McDONELL AND NICHOLLS,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 22nd day of February, 1909. The said James Angus McDonell will continue the said business in his own name and on his own account, and will pay and discharge all debts due by, and is entitled to receive payment of all moneys due to, the late partnership.

BOROUGH OF NAPIER.
“THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.”
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Council of the Borough of Napier, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of portions of public streets in the Borough of Napier known as “Napier Terrace” and “Chaucer Road” respectively, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk in the said Borough of Napier, and is there open for inspection. And notice is also given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Council of the Borough of Napier, at the office of the said Town Clerk.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by D. P. MATTHEWS and J. VICTOR, under the style of “The Wairarapa Co-operative Meat Company,” at 59 Vivian Street and 236 Riddiford Street, in the City of Wellington, was as on the 8th day of March, 1909, dissolved by mutual consent.

MARERETU ROAD BOARD.
IT is hereby notified that the above Board propose to take land for a public road, under provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” through Sections 38n and 182e, Parish of Mareretu, Blocks III and IV, Matakohé Survey District. All persons affected by the proposal are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections thereto, and lodge same with the Clerk of the Road Board, Mareretu, within forty days from the first publication of this notice. A plan showing the road proposed to be taken may be seen at the residence of the undersigned.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 25th day of February, 1908, presented to His Honour Sir Robert Stout, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, by Briscoe and Company (Limited), Wholesale Hardware Merchants, a creditor of the said company, and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 26th day of March, 1909, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
