Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THOMAS HADE,
JAMES BAYLISS,
ANDREW TUOHY,
OWEN GALLAGHER, and
WILLIAM KING ROBB

to be the Patutahi Town Domain Board, having the control of the lands described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Patutahi, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

PATUTAHI TOWN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing 2 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Sections 17 to 20 and 24 to 30 inclusive, Patutahi Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Hall Street, 700 links; towards the south-east by Onslow Street, 500 links; towards the south-west by Atkinson Street, 400 links; towards the north-west by Section 21, said Patutahi Township, 250 links; again towards the south-west by Sections 21, 22, and 23, said Township of Patutahi, 300 links; and again towards the north-west by Biggs Street, 250 links.

Also all that area, containing 2 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Sections 65 to 76 inclusive, Patutahi Township. Bounded towards the north-east by a closed road, 700 links; towards the south-east by Onslow Street, 400 links; towards the south-west by Hall Street, 700 links; and towards the north-west by Biggs Street, 400 links.

Also all that area, containing 2 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Sections 102 to 113 inclusive, Patutahi Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Seddon Street, 700 links; towards the south-east by Onslow Street, 400 links; towards the south-west by a closed road, 700 links; and towards the north-east by Biggs Street, 400 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 1152, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Nightsoil Depot in the Taumarunui Town Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1909.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for a nightsoil depot: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Taumarunui Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Taumarunui Town Board, in trust, for a nightsoil depot.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 51 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2a, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 2b, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District; towards the north-east generally by the Main South Road to Taumarunui; towards the south by Section No. 2, Block XIII aforesaid; and towards the north-west generally by a road along the Ongarue River: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5324/2, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Prescribing Form of License for selling Native Game.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the form of license for selling native game shall be as follows:—

LICENSE FOR SELLING NATIVE GAME.

[Name in full], of [Address], [Occupation], having this day paid the sum of [or, being the holder of a license to sell imported game, as the case may be], is hereby licensed to sell from the 1st day of June, 190 , to the day of , 190 , the several kinds of native game specified in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of “The Animals Protection Act, 1908.”

Opening Land in Marlborough Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Wednesday, the fourteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of section one hundred and thirty-five of the said Act, as it contains, or is supposed to contain, metal, mineral, or valuable stone.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, declare his intention to make such change, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
