IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” and
“The Land for Settlements Act, 1908,” I, William Lee,
Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection
on renewable lease on Monday, the tenth day of May, one
thousand nine hundred and nine, at the rentals mentioned
in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said
lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of
the said Acts.

of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the town lands
enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selec-
tion on renewable lease on Friday, the twenty-sixth day of
February, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at the
rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also
declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject
to the provisions of the said Act.

Town Land.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.

Raetihi is situated on the Pipiriki–Ohakune Main Road,
about nine miles from Ohakune. All the sections under offer
are flat, and have been felled and grassed, while most of
them front formed streets.

this nineteenth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and nine.

Opening Land in Auckland Land District for Sale or
Selection.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” I,
William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-
Secretary in this behalf, as provided in section one hundred
and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale
or selection on Wednesday, the twenty-first day of April,
one thousand nine hundred and nine; and also that the
land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option
of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for
occupation with right of purchase or on renewable lease;
and I do hereby also fix the price at which the said land
shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be
sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provi-
sions of “The Land Act, 1908.”

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PIAKO COUNTY.—WAITOA SURVEY
DISTRICT.

Second-class Unsurveyed Land.

Altitude, 75 ft. to 100 ft. above sea-level. About 4 acres
broken, remainder undulating; covered with fern and ma-
nuka scrub. Soil light and of rather inferior quality, on
sandstone formation. Good turnip-crops have been grown on
adjoining land of similar nature. Water obtainable only by
sinking. Intersected by Morrinsville–Tauhei Road, about
five miles from Morrinsville.

this eleventh day of February, one thousand nine
