The County of Kawhia and Portion of the County of Taupo West brought under “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1908,” and created Part of the Waikato Hospital District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and ten of “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the County of Kawhia and that portion of the County of Taupo West described in the Schedule hereto are hereby brought under Part I of the aforesaid Act and created part of the Waikato Hospital District.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Dominion of New Zealand, being the northern part of the West Taupo County, lying north of a right line running from Lake Taupo at the mouth of the Waihora Stream to the summit of Pareora Mountain.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Defining the Middle-line of a Further Portion of the Gisborne–Rotorua Railway—viz., Raukauroa Section.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Gisborne–Rotorua Railway (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorised by “The Public Works Act, 1908”: And whereas the said railway has been partly constructed, and it has been determined to construct and maintain a further portion of the same:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred on me by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said further portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Section 2, Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District, the said point being marked 32 miles, which point is also the termination of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 10th day of February, 1908, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the 13th day of February, 1908; proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction for a distance of about six miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands—viz., Sections 2 and 1, Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District; Section 3, Block XVI, Motu Survey District; Section 1, Block III, Ngatapa Survey District; Section 2, Block XV, Motu Survey District; Sections 1 and 1A (cemetery reserve), Block III, Ngatapa Survey District; Sections 3 and 7, and Section 8 (Waikarau School Reserve), and Subdivision 1 of Section 6, Block XV, Motu Survey District—and terminating at a point marked 38 miles in said Subdivision No. 1 of Section 6, Block XV, Motu Survey District: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Hawke’s Bay Land District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 24334, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
