Land taken for a Street in Town Section 14, Onehunga Borough.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners of the land hereinafter mentioned, and of the Onehunga Borough Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as taken for a street the land in Onehunga Borough described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this second day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, 1909.
Present :
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Maraetaua 1F Block, Block XIV, Ngamatea Survey District :
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown :
And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said land, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908” :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the ninetieth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and nine.
