1 ton.

  1. In section 7 of the whole of that clause describing the
    type of trolley is deleted, and there is substituted therefor
    the following clause:—

“The tires of the wheels of such trolley shall not
be less than 2½ in. in width, and there shall be fastened
all to the body of such trolley, at the front and back end of the
traction-power of the whole vehicle, and shall be balled by an
independent driver, so as not to project beyond the outside of
the axle of such trolley, allowing of free action; the cleatset
not to project beyond the said tires, and not less than 2½
inches in width, and not more than 4 in. in width, and at
least half of the said sleigh shall be in front of the swivel.”

  1. The following sub-clause (2) (a) (ii) is added to clause
    viii.

“Notwithstanding the provisions of section 7, no person
shall, after 31st March, 1910, use or permit to be used or
driven over, across, or along, any public road within the
county any trolley which (including the weight of timber,
the weight of such trolley) than 15 hundredweights.”

The foregoing by-laws were adopted by the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clamates was
passed on the 9th day of November, in the County, this
28th day of October, 1909, at a public meeting.

THE MILFORD SOUND GREENSTONE COMPANY
(LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 228
of The Companies Act, 1908,” that a General
Meeting of the abovenamed Company will be held at 2
Dickens Street, Thompson’s office, M.P. Buildings,
Dunedin, on the 10th day of December, 1909, at
noon, for the purpose of having an
account laid before them showing the manner in which the
winding-up has been conducted and the property of the
Company disposed of, and hearing any explanation that
may be given by the Liquidators, and for determining, by
extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books,
accounts, and documents of the Company and of the Liquida-
tion thereof shall be disposed of.

Dated at Dunedin, this 22nd day of December, 1909.
