CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Pastoral Runs in Westland Land District classified.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners appointed to classify and report upon rural lands in Westland Land District have reported to His Excellency the Governor that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto have been classified by them as therein noted.

SCHEDULE.
CLASS A.—PASTORAL LANDS, being Lands suitable exclusively for Pasturage, and not capable of being used with Profit in Areas of a Carrying-capacity of less than Five Thousand Sheep.
Run No. 5: Upper Taramakau; area, 9,500 acres—namely, 5,450 acres of Crown land, and 4,050 acres of national endowment land. Situated on the Upper Taramakau, within the Grey County, and within the Survey Districts of Otira and Taramakau, starting at a point on the right bank of the Taramakau River nearly opposite to its confluence with the Otira River; thence striking inland due north to a point about 20 chains short of the upper edge of the bush-line under Mount Alexander; thence proceeding generally eastwards, keeping about 20 chains below the upper edge of the bush-line and generally parallel thereto, along the southern flank of the Mount Alexander Range, and so proceeding to the old provincial boundary of Nelson, near Mount Wilson; and thence proceeding along the said district boundary to the Hurunui Saddle in a general south-east direction; thence proceeding generally in a westerly direction along the right bank of the River Taramakau to the starting-point: excluding Sections 753, 813, and 814, and excepting always all mining and other claims and rights within or at any time affecting the said area.
Runs Nos. 11 and 62, and adjoining Crown lands: Hokitika River and Diedrich Range; area, 33,000 acres—namely, 7,700 acres of national endowment land, and 25,300 acres of Crown land. Situated in Westland County, in Toaroha and Totara Survey Districts, starting at the westernmost corner of Section 2376, and proceeding by the southern boundary of that section to the River Hokitika; thence by the left bank of that river a distance of about a mile upwards to the Gorge; thence across the river about due east to the western boundary of Section 2322; thence around the south side of
