All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Block XX, Town of Matamata. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 157·1 links; towards the east, south, and west by Matamata Railway-station, 570, 140, and 641·4 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19293/372B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land temporarily reserved for Forest Purposes in the Taranaki Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a forest reserve.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 333 acres, more or less, being part of Section No. 6, Block X, Upper Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Pehu Stream and the Okoke Road; towards the east generally by Section No. 2, Block X, Upper Waitara Survey District; towards the south-west by the other part of Section No. 6 of the aforesaid Block X; towards the west by Section No. 6, Block IX, Upper Waitara Survey District; and towards the north-west by Section No. 3 of said Block X: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 22157/45, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Opening Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided in section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Monday, the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1908.”
