MOA ROAD BOARD.
Special Order.
THAT a special order declaring Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) to be a noxious weed on land in the Moa Road District be now made.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made by the Moa Road Board on the 18th July, 1908, and was confirmed on the 22nd August, 1908, in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

PARIHAKA ROAD DISTRICT.
Special Order made by the Parihaka Road Board.—Newall Road No. 2 Loan.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Parihaka Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorised to be raised by the Parihaka Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for forming, metalling, culverting, and draining the Newall Road from end of present metalling, opposite Sections 8 and 10, for about 90 chains onward to opposite Sections 1 and 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District, the said Parihaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁹⁄₁₈d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Newall Road Loan No. 2 Special-rating Area, comprising Sections 8, 9, 10, Block X, Cape Survey District; 10, 11, 12, Block XIV, Cape Survey District; 1, 2, 3, Block XV, Cape Survey District, in the Warea Ward of the said Parihaka Road District: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PARIHAKA ROAD DISTRICT.
Special Order made by Parihaka Road Board.—Upper Kina Road No. 2 Loan.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Parihaka Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Parihaka Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for forming, metalling, culverting, and draining the upper Kina Road from the end of the present metal opposite the boundary-peg between Sections 17 and 18, Block VII, Opunake Survey District, onward for 80 chains to the Wiremu Road, the said Parihaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of the rateable property in the Upper Kina Road No. 2 Loan Special-rating Area, comprising Sections 7, 8, 9, 19, 20, Block III, and Section 18, Block VII, Opunake Survey District, in the Oaonui Ward of the Parihaka Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RICCARTON ROAD BOARD.
Dilworth Street.—Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, the Riccarton Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum and other charges on a loan of £182, authorised to be raised by the Riccarton Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and shingling Dilworth Street and constructing culvert over drain, the said Riccarton Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of rateable property having a frontage to Dilworth Street, being part of Rural Section No. 155, comprising Lots Nos. 30 to 35 and 39 to 44 (all inclusive), as shown on deposit plan No. 552, in Block XI of the Christchurch Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” and amendments thereto, the Riccarton Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum and other charges on a loan of £140, authorised to be raised by the Riccarton Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and shingling Paton Street, the said Riccarton Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of rateable property having a frontage to Paton Street, being part of Rural Section No. 155, comprising Lots Nos. 48 to 58 and 57 to 62 (all inclusive), as shown on deposit plan No. 552, in Block XI of the Christchurch Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
