Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Public School and Teacher’s Residence in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a public school and teacher’s residence

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 18 acres, more or less, being Section No. 8, Block II, Maungamangero Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east and east by Poumarangei Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 3, Block II, Maungamangero Survey District; towards the south-west by said Section No. 3; and towards the north-west by Poumarangei Road aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5231/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 102 acres, more or less, being Section No. 19, Block XV, Otanewainuku Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road; towards the east by Section No. 18, Block XV, Otanewainuku Survey District; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 15 (Tauranga No. 2B) and 16, Block XV aforesaid; and towards the west generally by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 394/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 386 and 387, Town of Clyde. Bounded towards the north-east by Marine Parade; towards the south-east by Section No. 388, Town of Clyde; towards the south by Sections Nos. 378 and 379 of the said town; and towards the north-west by Section No. 385 of the said town: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5903/8, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Constituting Court for hearing Petition re Licensing Poll, Wellington Suburbs.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in that behalf conferred upon me by “The Licensing Act, 1908,” I, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby decide that the Stipendiary Magistrates hereinafter named shall constitute the Court for the hearing of any petition for inquiry into the conduct of the licensing poll taken in the Wellington Suburbs Licensing District on the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight, viz. :
ALEXANDER McARTHUR, Esq., Stipendiary Magistrate, Wellington;
WILLIAM PATTISON JAMES, Esq., Stipendiary Magistrate, Masterton; and
WILLIAM GLENDINNING RIDDELL, Esq., Stipendiary Magistrate, Wellington.
