Special Order made by the Pahiatua Borough Council.

THE following special order, made by the Pahiatua Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Pahiatua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the extension of drainage and water-supply works in the Borough of Pahiatua, the said Pahiatua Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Pahiatua, comprising part Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District, bounded on the north by Sections 10 and 11, Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District; on the south by Tiraumea and Hall’s Roads; on the east by Sections 12, 18, and 22, Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District; and on the west by Mangatainoka River; and being the whole of the Borough of Pahiatua: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fourteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the special order made at a special meeting of the Pahiatua Borough Council held on the 19th day of October, 1908, and duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 19th day of November, 1908.

THE following special order, made by the Taranaki County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,340, being 10 per cent. on the original loans, amounting to £13,400, authorised to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing bridges on roads under the jurisdiction of the Council—namely, Mangamawhete on Mountain Road, Waiongona on Junction Road, and Henui on Junction Road—the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹⁄₁₀₀d. in the pound, calculated upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Taranaki County Special-rating District, comprising the whole of the County of Taranaki; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taranaki was affixed hereto by the Chairman, duly authorised by resolution of the said Council passed on the 10th day of November, 1908.

THE following special order, made by the Woodville County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Woodville County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Woodville County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling roads through Riverside property, the said Woodville County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¹¹⁄₁₂d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Riverside Special-rating District, comprising Sections 92, 93, 94, 153, 154, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, Block VIII, and Section 152, Block XIII, Woodville Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 3½ per cent. per annum, and the cost of raising such loan and the first year’s interest thereon shall be paid out of the loan. That this special order shall take effect on the 5th day of November, 1908, and a meeting of the Council will be held in the County Office, Woodville, on the 5th day of November, 1908, to confirm this resolution.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Woodville County was hereto affixed on the 5th day of November, 1908, in the presence of—

THE following special order, made by the Feilding Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

BOROUGH OF FEILDING.
Special Order.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Council of the Borough of Feilding hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorised to be raised by the Council of the Borough of Feilding, under the above-mentioned Act, for repairing damage to town’s water-supply, the said Council of the Borough of Feilding hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above special order was duly passed and adopted at a special meeting of the Council held on the 24th day of October, 1908, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 24th day of November, 1908.
