Appointing Commissioners to classify Pastoral Runs in Canterbury Land District.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the two-hundred-and-twenty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

ALEXANDER CAMPBELL PRINGLE, and
JAMES STEVENSON
Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural lands in Canterbury Land District known as Runs Nos. 68, 180, 181, 221, 3, 4c; 90; 91, and 207; 206 and Reserve 2928; 4a, 4b, 203, 103, 182, 183, 175, 20, and 127, as provided by section two hundred and twenty-five of “The Land Act, 1908.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Police-station in Kakahi Village Settlement, Wellington Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a police-station.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 16, Block II, Kakahi Village Settlement. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road; towards the north-east by Takapuna Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 15, Block II, Kakahi Village Settlement; and towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 1 and 2, Block II aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 7081/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 400 acres, more or less, being Section No. 39, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 36 of said Block X, towards the east generally by Sections Nos. 37 and 40 of said block, towards the south-east by Section No. 41, and towards the west generally by the Retaruke Road.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 400 acres, more or less, being Section No. 41, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 39, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 40 and 42 of the said Block X; towards the south-east by Section No. 1, Block XIV, of the said district, across the Retaruke Road, and by Section No. 43, Block X aforesaid; and towards the south-west generally by the Retaruke River, Section No. 2 (primary education reserve), Blocks IX and X, of the said district, and by the Retaruke Road aforesaid: exclusive of public roads which are within the above-described area.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 50640/26, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block VII, Waimea Survey District. Commencing at a point on the south-western side of Champion Road (the said point being distant 2854.2 links in a south-easterly direction from the intersection of the south-western side of that road with the south-eastern side of the Waimea Road), and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction along the said side of the said road, a distance of 440 links; thence in a south-westerly direction along a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned road, a distance of 284.1 links; thence in a north-westerly direction along a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned boundary, a distance of 440 links; and thence in a north-easterly direction along a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned boundary, a distance of 284.1 links; to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5223/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
