Changing the Purpose of a Portion of a Reserve in the Taranaki Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the seventh section of "The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908," have been duly complied with in respect of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before Parliament, as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Parliament has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice:
Now, therefore, I William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column to that named in the third column of the said Schedule.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XI, Omona Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by the Rawhitiroa Road; towards the south-east by Section No. 6, Block XI afore-said; towards the south-west by Section No. 11 in the said block; and towards the west and north-west by the Mataiwhetu Road. Reserved for a resting-place for travelling stock in New Zealand Gazette No. 17, of the 10th March, 1898. All that area in the Tarana- naki Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less, being Section No. 12, Block XI, Omona Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by the Rawhitiroa Road, 369·65, 317·6, and 457·8 links; towards the south- east by Section No. 6, Block XI, Omona Survey District, 747·55 links; and towards the west generally by a road, 661·6 and 158 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 56320/11, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered purple. For a site for a public cemetery.

Set apart as Government reserves for public purposes in Wellington Provincial Gazette No. 28, of 7th September, 1867, page 137. All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 22·4 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 200 and 202 of the Town of Featherston. Bounded towards the north-east by Fox Street, 113·64 links ; towards the south-east by other part of Section No. 202 aforesaid, 333·3 links; towards the south by Fitzherbert Street, 113·64 links; and towards the north-west by other parts of Sections Nos. 202 and 200, 376 links, to the point of commencement : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57934/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. Telegraph purposes.
Same as above. All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 200 and 202 of the Town of Featherston. Bounded towards the north-east by Fox Street, 184·36 links ; towards the south-east by other parts of Sections Nos. 200 and 202 aforesaid, 376 links; towards the south by Fitzherbert Street, 266·36 links; towards the north-west by other part of Section No. 200, 469·5 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid link- ages more or less : as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 57934/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue. Police purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
