Land taken for a Road in Sections 33 and 67, Block V, Parish of Tahawai, Katikati Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1908," for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block V, Katikati Survey District :

And whereas the Tauranga County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1908," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1908," for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District :

And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1908," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the fifth section of "The Land Act, 1908," and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and are hereby withdrawn from Hangaroa Village Settlement.

WHEREAS by "The Scenery Preservation Act, 1908" (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), a Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the Minister of Lands, inspect any lands possessing scenic or historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs, and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the Governor; and shall from time to time recommend what
