Special Order made by the Paparoa Road Board, County of Manukau.

THE following special order, made by the Paparoa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

PAPAROA ROAD DISTRICT.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Paparoa Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, authorised to be raised by the Paparoa Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling on the Paparoa–East Tamaki Road, the said Paparoa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Special-rating District No. 1, comprising Lot 96, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 110 acres 3 roods; Lot part 116, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 76 acres; Lot part 116, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 50 acres; Lot part 116, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 4 acres 2 roods; Lot part 116, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 33 acres 2 roods; Lot part 97, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 32 acres 3 roods 35 perches; Lot part 97, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 38 acres 2 roods 35 perches; Lot 23, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 51 acres 1 rood 11 perches; Lot 29, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 22 acres and 31 perches; Lots 74, 78, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 54 acres 1 rood 29 perches; Lot 87, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 103 acres 1 rood 20 perches; Lot 81, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 54 acres 1 rood 10 perches; Lots 15, 17, 19 of 8, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 15 acres; Lots 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22 of 8, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 30 acres and 13 perches; Lot 24 of 8, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 6 acres 2 roods 16 perches; Lots 23, 25, 26, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 13 acres 2 roods 16 perches; Lot 86, Parish of Pakuranga, Otahuhu Survey District, 77 acres 3 roods: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, with interest at the rate of 3½ per centum per annum.

The above special order was passed at a special meeting held at the office of the Board on the 7th day of September, 1908, and duly confirmed at an ordinary meeting held at the office of the Board on the 5th day of October, 1908.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

Special Order made by the Council of the County of Waipawa.

THE following special order, made by the Waipawa County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

Copy of a Resolution made by the Waipawa County Council on the 5th day of February, 1908, and confirmed on the 4th day of March, 1908.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £450, authorised to be raised by the Waipawa County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling of Centre Road, Matamau, commencing at its junction with the Napier Main Road, and terminating at its junction with Railway Road, also metalling Branch Road, commencing at its junction with Centre Road, and terminating at the point where it intersects southern boundary of Lot 45, Te Ohu Block, Norsewood Survey District, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Matamau Centre Road Special-rating District, comprising Lots 28, 30, 31, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40, 41, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, and 51 of Te Ohu Block, Matamau, all of the Norsewood Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I, Ole Ericksen, Chairman of the Dannevirke County Council, hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the resolution made by the Waipawa County Council on the 5th day of February, 1908, and confirmed on the 4th day of March, 1908.

Special Order made by the Eastbrook Borough Council.

THE following special order, made by the Council of the Borough of Eastbrook, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

EASTBROOK BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the Eastbrook Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorised to be raised by the Eastbrook Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following undertakings, namely,—
(1.) The purpose or acquisition of recreation reserves, £1,100.
(2.) The erection of a Town Hall, £500.
(3.) The formation and the metalling of the following streets: Kaimatira Street, £200; River Bank Street, £800; No. 3 Line Street, £600; Mahoney Street, £50; London Street, £50; Wilkie Street, £50; and Lenihan Street, £50: total, £1,800.
(4.) Surface drainage, £600,—
the said Eastbrook Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 4d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Eastbrook Borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Eastbrook Borough Council held on the 21st day of September, 1908, and confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 19th day of October, 1908.
