Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for railway purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 27 perches, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block LVII, Te Aroha Township. Bounded towards the north-east by Rewi Street, towards the south-east by Burgess Street, and towards the south-west and north-west by a railway reserve; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 58806/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Bounded towards the north-east by Herschel Street; towards the south-east by Ellery Street; towards the south-west by Copernicus Street; towards the north-west by Kepler Street; again towards the north-east, the north-west, and the south-west by Sections Nos. 282, 283, Township of Ngaruawahia; and again towards the north-west by Kepler Street aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 53024/11, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Bounded towards the north by a public road; towards the east generally by a public road; towards the south generally by a public road; and towards the west by Section No. 5, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5221/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.

Bounded towards the north by Owen Street; towards the east by Humboldt Street; towards the south by Section No. 7; and towards the west by Section No. 86: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5902/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Opening Settlement Land in Auckland Land District for Selection.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” and “The Land for Settlements Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.
