Additional Members and Readjustment of Representation,
Bruce County Council.

PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of October, 1908.

Present :

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Bruce County Council has passed a resolution, as provided by section two of “The Counties Amendment Act, 1908.”

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, pursuant to the said resolution, the number of the members of the said Bruce County Council is hereby increased to eleven, and the representation in the said County Council of the ridings in the County of Bruce is hereby adjusted as follows:—

Balmoral Riding .. .. Two members.
Clarendon Riding .. .. One member.
Crichton Riding .. .. One member.
Glenledi Riding .. .. One member.
Kaitangata Riding .. .. One member.
Matau Riding .. .. One member.
Mount Stuart Riding .. .. One member.
Tokomairiro Riding .. .. Two members.
Waihola Riding .. .. One member.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, pursuant to the said resolution, the number of the members of the said Selwyn County Council is hereby increased to eleven, and the representation in the said County Council of the ridings in the County of Selwyn is hereby adjusted as follows:—

Avon Riding .. .. One member.
Riccarton Riding .. .. Two members.

Malvern Riding .. .. One member.
Heathcote Riding .. .. One member.
Halswell Riding .. .. One member.
