I, THE undersigned, JOHN LEO KAYE, formerly JOHN LEO STRANGE, of the City of Nelson, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Carpenter, do hereby give public notice that I have this day filed in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Nelson a deed, dated the 29th day of September, 1908, whereby I have discarded my former name of John Leo Strange, and have assumed the name of John Leo Kaye as from the date of the said deed.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, HARRY PIKE and ALBERT GEORGE COTTRELL, in the business of Tailors, and carried on by us at Symonds Street, Auckland, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

NOTICE is hereby given that the South Rakaia Lodge, No. 6459, of the Ashburton District of the New Zealand Branch of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows Friendly Society, Register No. 312 (6) (4), held at South Rakaia, is dissolved by instrument, registered at this office the 15th day of October, 1908, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required to send their names and addresses and particulars of the debts or claims to Harry Alfred Lee, of Auckland, the Liquidator of the said company, and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are personally, or by their solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Richardson and Scott’s Improved Hemp Process Company (Limited), held on the 4th day of September, 1908, a special resolution was passed winding up the said company voluntarily, and that such special resolution was confirmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting called for the 30th day of September, 1908, and adjourned to the 7th day of October, 1908.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Hutt County Council to take, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for the purposes of a public road, the following lands, parts of Section 51, Block 9, Belmont Survey District, viz.:—

Area required to be taken. Number of Allotment.
A. R. P. 0 1 11 Part Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Section 51.

A copy of the plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited at the Hutt County Office, 68 Lambton Quay, Wellington, where it may be inspected by all persons during business hours.
All persons affected are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the making of such road or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the day of the first publication hereof, to the Hutt County Council.
