Of the Karioi Riding: Commencing at a point where the Rata-Maire Road joins the Pipiriki–Waiouru Road; thence easterly along the new south boundary of the Ruapehu Riding (as described herein) to the junction of the Pipiriki–Waiouru Main Road with the Waiouru–Tokaanu Road; thence south and west by the present east and south boundaries of the Ohakune Riding to the Wangaehu River; thence by the south boundary of the Karioi Survey District to the Ohotu–Karioi Road; thence west by the centre of the Ohotu–Karioi Road to the Junction Road; thence northerly by the centre of the Junction Road to the Oruakukuru–Karioi Road; thence west by the centre of the Oruakukuru Road to Otiranui Road; thence north by the centre of the Otiranui Road to the north boundary of the Ohotu Block; thence east by the north boundary of the Ohotu Block to the west boundary of the Karioi Survey District; thence north and east by the west boundary of the Karioi Survey District to the Kopurutuku Road; thence north-west by the centre of the Kopurutuku Road to the Rata-Maire Road; thence east by the centre of the Rata-Maire Road to the starting-point.

Of the Ohakune Riding: Commencing at a point where the Okuru Stream joins the Parapara Road; thence north by the new east boundary of the Parapara Riding (as described herein) to the south boundary of the Raetihi Riding; thence by the Raetihi Riding to the new south boundary of the Ruapehu Riding (as described herein); thence east by the new south boundary of the Ruapehu Riding (as described herein) to the Rata-Maire Road; thence west and southerly by the new westerly boundary of the Karioi Riding (as described herein) to the Wangaehu River; thence by the county boundary south-west and north to the Parapara Riding; thence by the new east boundary (as described herein) to the starting-point.

I, Philip George Smith, Chairman of the Waimarino County Council, do hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Waimarino County Council held on the 12th day of September, 1908, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Waimarino County Council held on the 19th day of October, 1908.

Special Orders made by the Te Awamutu Town Board.

THE following special orders, made by the Te Awamutu Town Board, are published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

TE AWAMUTU TOWN BOARD.

I HEREBY certify that the following special order was duly made by the Te Awamutu Town Board by a resolution of the said Board adopted at a special meeting of the said Board, duly convened, and held on the 6th day of August, 1908, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Board on the 10th day of September, 1908.

Dated at Te Awamutu, this 30th day of September, 1908.

Special Order for raising Loan.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Public Works Act, 1905,” the Te Awamutu Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of paying one-third of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Puniu River at Te Awamutu, known as “the Puniu Bridge,” directed to be paid by a Warrant, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” signed by His Excellency the Governor, and dated the 14th day of March, 1908, the Te Awamutu Town Board hereby resolves that a special loan of £600 be raised in and for the Te Awamutu Town District; such loan to be raised by two loans of £300 each in two successive years; each of the said loans of £300 to be for a period of forty-one years. The loan of £600 to be secured by a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Awamutu Town District, as constituted under the provisions of “The Town Districts Act, 1881.”


TE AWAMUTU TOWN BOARD.

I hereby certify that the following special order was duly made by the Te Awamutu Town Board by a resolution of the said Board adopted at a special meeting of the said Board, duly convened, and held on the 6th day of August, 1908, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the said Board on the 10th day of September, 1908.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Te Awamutu Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorised to be raised by the Te Awamutu Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying one-third of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Puniu River at Te Awamutu, known as “the Puniu Bridge,” directed to be paid by a Warrant, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” signed by His Excellency the Governor, and dated the 14th day of March, 1908, the said Te Awamutu Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Awamutu Town District, as constituted under the provisions of “The Town Districts Act, 1881”; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Special Order making Special Rate.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and the Acts amending the same respectively, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the said Levin Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for purchasing gas plant, mains, material, and generally for erecting, constructing, and establishing municipal coal-gas works, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
