Native Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Puhanga-te-uru No. 3b, No. 7161, Block VI, Waihou Survey District.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of September, 1908.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Puhanga-te-uru No. 3b, No. 7161, Block VI, Waihou Survey District:

And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:

And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said land, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the ninetieth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said road as from the fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Native Land in Bay of Islands Survey District taken for Lighthouse Purposes.

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of October, 1908.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Native land and is required to be taken for lighthouse purposes:

And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:

And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the eighty-ninth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for lighthouse purposes as aforesaid; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

In the Land District of Auckland; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 23960, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured as above.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of October, 1908.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a public work, to wit, for the purpose of a gravel-pit in Block XI, Rarete Survey District:

And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:

And whereas a map in duplicate has been prepared of the said land, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the ninetieth section of the said Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be taken for the purposes of the said gravel-pit; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
