tioned section; and numbered 2490 (in red) on the official
map in the Survey Office, Christchurch; together with all
buildings erected thereon; to hold the said several premises
for the purpose of maintaining a rifle range for Volunteer
purposes, and generally for the purposes of and with the
powers conferred by the said Acts. And it is hereby
declared that the said Trustees shall be incorporated under
the name of “The Trustees of the Ashburton Volunteer
Rifle-range Reserve,” and that they shall take office as such
Trustees on the sixteenth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and eight.

upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section
of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint Friday, the twenty-seventh day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and eight, as the time at which the
lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by
public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which
the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto opposite the description of such lands
respectively.

about thirteen miles and a half north-westward from Ealing
Railway-station, and adjoining the properties of Messrs.

Weighted with £14 10s., valuation for improvements, con-
sisting of small hut, fencing, and surface-sowing.

Situated on the sea-coast at the north side of the mouth
of the Blythe River, Stonyhurst, about ten miles from
Mackenzie Township, Cheviot. It consists partly of flat
and easy-sloping land of fairly good quality, and partly of
rough broken land.
