At an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the company’s office, Carterton, on the 23rd September, 1908, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“Whereas it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business; it is advisable that it be wound up. We now resolve that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And at the same meeting WILLIAM BOYCE CHENNELLS, of Masterton, Estate Agent, was appointed Liquidator.

At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the office of the Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), in Water Street, Dunedin, on the 25th day of September, 1908, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that WILLIAM LAURENCE SIMPSON, of Dunedin, Company Manager, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

NOTICE OF TAKING AND LAYING-OFF OF A ROAD THROUGH PART OF ALLOTMENTS 6, 8, AND 10, SECTION 14, BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA, IN THE OTAHUHU SURVEY DISTRICT.
Notice is hereby given that the Onehunga Borough Council intends to take, under section 18, “Public Works Act, 1908,” for the purpose of constructing a road to give access to a waterworks pumping-station now in course of erection, a portion of Allotments 6, 8, and 10 of Section 14, Borough of Onehunga, which is a reserve vested in the borough for water-reserve purposes. A plan of the proposed road is deposited for inspection in the Borough Council Chambers, Onehunga.
Size of land to be taken: 500 ft. long by 66 ft. wide.

“THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1908,” AND “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.”
In pursuance of the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland hereby gives notice that it intends to erect and construct a service reservoir for the Auckland City water-supply, and do all works and things incidental thereto, and that for the purpose and object of so doing the land described in the Schedule hereto is required and will require to be taken by the said Corporation under the provisions of the above Acts, and that a survey has been made, and a plan prepared, signed by Thomas McFarlane, and numbered 14588, showing such land, together with the names of the owners and occupiers thereof so far as they can be ascertained, and that a copy of such plan has been deposited in the office of the Town Clerk of the said Corporation, at the Corporation Office, Coburg Street, in the City of Auckland, the place directed by the Corporation, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works, or the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the twenty-ninth day of September, 1908 (being the date of the first publication of this notice), to the Town Clerk, Auckland.
