Paeroa is situated on the Thames–Te Aroha Railway, and is distant seventy miles from Auckland, via Thames, and 130 miles by direct rail from Auckland. The owner of the house on Section 33, Block I, will be allowed two months to remove it back from boundary.

Land temporarily reserved for a Landing-place and Depot for Storage of Boats in Mowhanau Village, Wellington Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a landing-place and a depot for storage of boats.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Section No. 71, Mowhanau Village; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 48784/37, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
