IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the second section of “The Timber-floating Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the undermentioned river and its tributary streams and branches may be used under license for the purposes of the said Act.

RUAKAKA River and its tributary streams and branches, situated in Whangarei County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fifty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the south-west by the Ruakituri River; towards the north-west by a right line bearing 60° 40′, distance 295 links; towards the north-east by a right line bearing 158° 3′, distance 752 links; and towards the south-east by a right line bearing 240° 40′, distance 264 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1542, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. |

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a police-station.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 34·5 perches, more or less, being Section No. 100 of the Township of Otaki, being all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 128, folio 215, Wellington Land Registration District, and deposited as Deed No. 905 in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Bounded towards the north-east by Rosamond Terrace; towards the east by Section No. 3, Block VIII aforesaid; towards the south by Powewe Street; and towards the west by Section No. 5: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 58629/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
