Modifying the Proclamation prohibiting Importation of Prison-made Goods.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, 1908.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by section ninety-three of “The Customs Law Act, 1908,” and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order that the Proclamation of the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of July then instant, prohibiting the importation of prison-made goods, shall not apply to any goods which are shown to the satisfaction of the Collector to have been supplied in fulfilment of an order sent from New Zealand on or before the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight, provided that such goods are imported into the Dominion on or before the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Regulation under “The Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, 1908.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section twenty-seven of “The Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908,” that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, make regulations generally for carrying out the purposes of the said Act :
And whereas it is desirable to make a regulation prescribing the form of the certificate of the Analyst required by subsection one of section eight of the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulation, and doth hereby declare that such regulation shall take effect on and after the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette :—
REGULATION.
- The certificate of the Analyst referred to in section 8 of “The Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908,” shall be in the form “A” in the Schedule hereto where any method of analysis, chemical or physical, has been prescribed by regulations under the said Act for the analysis of any food or drug; and in the form “B” in the said Schedule where no method is so prescribed.

FORM A.
Analyst's Certificate under “The Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.”
(To be used where method of analysis has been prescribed.)
I, THE undersigned, an analyst appointed under “The Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908,” do hereby certify that on the __ day of __, 19, there was delivered to me personally by [or I received by registered post from] [Here insert the name and address of the officer from whom sample was received], an officer of the Department of Public Health [or an officer appointed for the purposes of the said Act], a sample of [Here state the name of the food or drug] for analysis in a [Here state the nature of the package in which the sample was enclosed, how it was labelled and marked, and, if sealed, describe impress of the seal, if any], and that I have analysed the same, and in such analysis have followed the method prescribed for the analysis of __ in the regulations under the said Act, and that the result of my analysis is as follows:—
ANALYSIS AND OBSERVATIONS.
As witness my hand, at __, this __ day of __, 19____.

In the case of a certificate regarding milk, butter, or any article liable to decomposition, the Analyst shall specially report whether any change had taken place in the constitution of the article which would interfere with the analysis.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waipawa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, 1908.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council, dated the twelfth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, delegating powers to the Waipawa Town Board as the Waipawa Domain Board, and doth hereby appoint
THE WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL
to be the Waipawa Domain Board, having, subject to the said Act, control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land is a public domain, and shall be called the Waipawa Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Waipawa, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
WAIPAWA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 51 acres, more or less, being Section No. 27, Block XI, Waipukurau Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Blocks 58, 57, 56, and 16, and Crown lands, 3126·4, 150, and 2070 links respectively; towards the east by old river-bed, 1370·3 links; and towards the south generally by old river-bed, 4779·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1118, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
