Lands temporarily reserved in Te Arai Settlement, Hawke's Bay Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of "The Land Act, 1908," it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Hawke's Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the aid Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 14, Block XII, Patutahi Survey District (Te Arai Settlement). Bounded towards the north and east by Section No. 6, Block XII aforesaid, 350 and 285.1 links respectively; towards the south by the Taurau Road, 350 links; and towards the west by said Section No. 6, 285.7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19369/43A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For quarry purposes.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 19 perches, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block IX, Turanganui Survey District (Te Arai Settlement). Bounded towards the north, east, and south by Section No. 5, Block IX aforesaid, 450, 382.8, and 250 links respectively; and towards the west by the Pakowhai Road, 479.7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19369/43B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For metal purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Hall and Library in Kakahi Village, Wellington Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of "The Land Act, 1908," it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 18, Block I, Kakahi Village; towards the north-east by Section No. 8, Block I aforesaid; towards the south-east by the main road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 6 of said Block I: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 58603/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of "The Land Act, 1908," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Trustees for the Otonga Public Cemetery appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of "The Cemeteries Act, 1908," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.
