SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road which lies partly within Section 249
and partly within Section 248, Block IX, Reefton Survey District. Commencing at the road lying between the Waitahu
River and the said sections, proceeding thence and extending
to the northernmost corner of the said Section 248.

Also all that portion of road bounded on the north-west
by the south-eastern boundary of that portion of Section 1,
Block IX, Reefton Survey District, which lies to the east of
the Reefton-Westport Road, and by the whole of the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block V, Reefton Survey District; bounded on the south-east by the north-western
boundary of that portion of the said Section 248 which lies
to the east of the Reefton-Westport Road, by a portion of
road, and by the whole of the north-western boundary of
Section 245, Block IX, Reefton Survey District.

As the same are delineated on sheets 1 and 2 of the plan
marked P.W.D. 23800, deposited in the office of the Minister
for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District
of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its
Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the
said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of August, in
the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred
and eight.

Land in the City of Christchurch taken for the Purposes
of Electric Tramways.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1908,” and “The Tramways Act, 1908,” for the purposes of the Christchurch electric tramways:

And whereas the Christchurch Tramway Board has laid
before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map,
and also the statutory declaration, as required by “The
Public Works Act, 1908”:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers of “The Public Works Act, 1908,”
“The Tramways Act, 1908,” and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of the said
electric tramways as aforesaid, and shall, as from the date
hereinafter specified, vest in the Christchurch Tramway
Board; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the ninth day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and eight.

SCHEDULE.
THE parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Portion of Situated in the
A. R. P. 0 0 26·3 R.S. No. 176 (City of Christchurch) Christchurch Survey strict.

In the Land District of Canterbury; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 23904,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1908,” for the purposes of a post-office:

And whereas an agreement for the taking of the estate in
fee-simple of the said land has been entered into, and it
has been made to appear that such agreement is sufficient
for the purposes intended to be effected thereby: And
whereas a plan has been prepared in duplicate showing
accurately the position and extent of the said land, and
the Minister of Public Works has recommended that this
Proclamation should be issued:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
“The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office as aforesaid; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of
September, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

SCHEDULE.

Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured as above.

Upper Mokau River District extended.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by “The Mokau
River Trust Act, 1903,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket,
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the first day of
October, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be a public domain
within the jurisdiction of the Mokau River Trust constituted
under the said Act, and from and after the above-named date
the said Trust may exercise in respect of the said lands all the
powers and authorities conferred by the said Act, in the
same manner as if such lands had been originally included
in the trust district constituted under that Act.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts
bounded towards the west by the other portion of the Mokau
River District, as described in “The Mokau River Trust
Act, 1903,” beginning at a point on the boundary between
Subdivisions 1r and 1g of the Mokau-Mohakatino No. 1
Block, in the Mokau Survey District, as described in the
aforesaid Act, 40 chains from the left bank of the river;
thence generally bounded towards the south and east by
a line 40 chains from the said left bank· to the northern
