NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on at Oamaru by MILTON AUGUSTINE PEART and JAMES GEMMELL WALLACE, under the style of “Peart and Wallace,” as Building Contractors, has been dissolved by mutual consent.

NOTICE is hereby given that Mr. DONALD GRAHAM has retired from the Partnership until lately carried on by himself and myself as Land and Estate and Commission Agents, at Commercial Chambers, 3 Hunter Street, Wellington, as a partnership at will, under the style of “Pearce and Graham,” which partnership was dissolved as from the 30th day of June, 1908. I have purchased from the said Donald Graham his interest in the said business of Land and Estate and Commission Agents, which will henceforth be carried on by me at the above address, under the style or firm of “A. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Lower Hutt proposes, under the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and “The Public Works Act, 1905,” to execute a public work—namely, to widen a public road or street, to wit, Main Road in the said borough—and for the purpose of such public work the land specified on the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required is deposited in the public office of the Lower Hutt Borough Council, situate in Main Road, Lower Hutt, and is open for inspection without fee during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected are called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Council, addressed to me at the office aforesaid.

BOROUGH OF CAMPBELLTOWN.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE FOR THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST AND OTHER CHARGES ON A LOAN OF £3,000.
THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the said Council under the above-mentioned Acts for constructing certain drainage-works, refuse-destroying works, and other sanitary works within the meaning of “The Public Health Act, 1900,” aforesaid, as more fully expressed in a special order of the said Council passed on the 14th day of April, 1908, and confirmed on the 15th day of May, 1908, the said Council of the Borough of Campbelltown hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said Borough of Campbelltown; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
