THE following special order, made by the Waitotara-Momohaki Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,”

WAITOTARA-MOMOHAKI ROAD BOARD.
RESOLVED, That this Board revoke special order adopted the 9th July, 1907, and confirmed the 13th August, 1907, striking a special rate over the Waitotara-Momohakanui Special-rating District, the following special order, which was adopted on the 4th February, 1908, and confirmed on the 3rd March, 1908, being made in substitution thereof:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Waitotara-Momohaki Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorised to be raised by the Waitotara-Momohaki Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Valley Road from Waitotara Township to the northern boundary of Section 394, Block VIII, Wairoa Survey District, the said Waitotara-Momohaki Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Waitotara-Momohakanui Special-rating District, comprising Sections 297, 298, 299, 305, Block XII, Wairoa; 389, 388, part 390, and northern portion of 394, Block VIII; 358, 387, Block IX, Wairoa Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
