THE following special order, made by the Onslow Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901.”

BOROUGH OF ONSLOW.

Special Order.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” “The Public Health Act, 1900,” and “The Onslow Borough Drainage Empowering Act, 1906,” the Onslow Borough Council resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,164, authorised to be raised by the Onslow Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the construction of drainage-works for that portion of the Borough of Onslow described in the Schedule hereto and defined by the Borough Council under “The Onslow Borough Drainage Empowering Act, 1906,” as a drainage-area under the name of the Kaiwarra Drainage-area, which drainage-works have been recommended by the District Health Officer for the Public Health District of Wellington, comprising the Borough of Onslow, and approved by the Minister of Public Health, the said Onslow Borough Council hereby makes and levies (by special order), at a rate of 4 per centum per annum, a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of that portion of the East Ward of the Borough of Onslow described in the Schedule hereto; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land being part of Section 3, Harbour District, bounded as follows: Commencing at the most easterly point of the boundary-line between Sections 3 and 4, Harbour District (where such boundary-line meets Port Nicholson Harbour); thence in a north-westerly direction
