Land taken for the Kai Iwi Ballast-pit Siding on the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway.

PLUNKET, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for the Kai Iwi Ballast-pit Siding on the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the railway hereinbefore specified.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Additional Land in Block III, Cobden Survey District, taken for the Purposes of the Coal Creek Railway.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Coal Creek Railway to take further land in Block III, Cobden Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
