TE RAPA DRAINAGE DISTRICT (EXTENDED BOUNDARIES).
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by the road forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 166, Horotiu Parish, from the westernmost corner of that section to the westernmost corner of Section No. 137 ; thence by Sections Nos. 137, 134, and 133, Horotiu Parish, to the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 166 aforesaid ; thence by that road to the north - western boundary of Section No. 215 ; thence by the abutment of the aforementioned road and by Sections Nos. 120 and 119, Horotiu Parish, to the Ngaruawahia-Hamilton Main Road; thence towards the north-east generally by that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 19, Pukete Parish; thence by a right line across the said road, and by Sections Nos. 19 and 20, Pukete Parish, to the road forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 21 ; thence by the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 21 and 22, and again by the Ngaruawahia-Hamilton Main Road to the easternmost corner of Section No. 41A, Pukete Parish ; thence by Sections Nos. 38 and 39 to the road forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 84 ; thence towards the south-east by the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, and 82, Pukete Parish, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the south-west generally by the road forming the south - western boundaries of Sections Nos. 82, 69, 67, 66, 110, 109, 108, 107, 106, 105, 104, 113, 114, and 115, Pukete Parish, and the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 150 ; thence by Section No. 149, Pukete Parish, by the road forming the south-western boundary of Section No. 215, Pukete Parish, and the road forming the southern and western boundaries of Section No. 166, Horotiu Parish, to the place of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of January, 1908.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the third section of "The Land Drainage Act, 1904," a majority of the ratepayers in the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Manawatu, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the said area be constituted a drainage district under the provisions of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the third section of “The Land Drainage Act, 1904,” and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, and to be called by the name of the “Moutoa Drainage District”; and also, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board of Trustees for the said district shall consist of five persons, to be elected as members of the said Board under and in accordance with the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
MOUTOA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north generally by the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 421, Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, from the Manawatu River to the north-eastern corner of the said section; thence by the road intersecting Section No. 411 and forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 428, 429, 430, 431, 432, 433, and 434 of said Block V; thence northerly by the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 258, Block VI, for a distance of 11 chains; thence easterly by a right line at right angles to the last-mentioned road for a distance of 10 chains; thence northerly by a right line parallel to the

road forming the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 258 and 251, Block VI aforesaid, to the road forming the northern boundary of the last-mentioned section ; thence by the road forming the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 251, 257, and 256 to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 254 ; thence by Sections Nos. 254, 436, 435, 27, 28, 29, and 30, Block VI aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by Sections Nos. 13, 14, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, and 46 to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line running due east to the Manawatu River; and thence towards the north-east, east, south, and west by the Manawatu River to the place of commencement.

By-laws for Waitomo and Ruakuri Caves Scenic Reserves.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of January, 1908.

WHEREAS the Waitomo Caves and Ruakuri Caves Scenic Reserves, as described in the First Schedule hereto, have been respectively brought under the provisions of "The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906," and it is expedient to make by-laws in respect to the management and control of such reserves:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act and by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” doth hereby make the by-laws set forth in the Second Schedule hereto with respect to the management, control, and general regulation of the said reserves.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
WAITOMO CAVES SCENIC RESERVE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, being Hauturu East No. 1A No. 6 Block, situated in Block X, Orahiri Survey District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 21677, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
RUAKURI CAVES SCENIC RESERVE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 90 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section No. 6, Block X, Orahiri Survey District. Bounded towards the north and towards the north-west by the right bank of the Waitomo River; towards the north-east by the Hauturu East No. 1A Block; towards the south-east and towards the south generally by the Waitomo Valley Road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 2, Block X, Orahiri Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 51624/36A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
By-LAWS.
Waitomo and Ruakuri Caves Scenic Reserves.
- In these by-laws “General Manager” means the General Manager of the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts, and includes any person who may be acting for the General Manager.
“The reserves” mean the Waitomo Caves and Ruakuri Caves Scenic Reserves.

No person shall enter any of the Waitomo or Ruakuri Caves unless accompanied by the caretaker or other authorised guide, nor without first paying the charges prescribed in the Third Schedule to these by-laws.

The hours at which the caves may be visited daily shall be fixed from time to time by the General Manager, and not more than six persons shall be allowed to accompany each guide.

No person shall light a fire within any of the caves or on any portion of the reserves.
