THE WEBER PUBLIC HALL COMPANY (LIMITED).

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1903"; and in the matter of the affidavit and application of Andrew Robertson and James Little McDonald, of the Weber Public Hall Company (Limited).

I HEREBY notify that, no objection to such application having been made and lodged with me as by the said Act required, I do now declare such company to be dissolved.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JOSEPH ECCLES TODHUNTER and ROBERT CHARLTON TODHUNTER, carrying on business at Christchurch as Produce Merchants, and at Waitohi Peaks as Sheep-farmers, under the style of "Todhunter Bros.," has been dissolved as from the date hereof. In future the business of Produce Merchants will be carried on by the said Joseph Eccles Todhunter, under the style of "Todhunter Bros.," at Christchurch, who will receive all accounts and discharge all the liabilities of that part of the late partnership business; and the Sheep-farming business will be carried on by the said Robert Charlton Todhunter, who will receive all accounts and discharge all liabilities in connection with that part of the late partnership business.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

REGISTRATION OF MOTORS.

IT is hereby notified that at a special meeting of the Council of the Kairanga County held on Tuesday, the 9th day of June, 1908, the following resolution was adopted:—

"That from and after the 12th day of July, 1908, Part II of 'The Motor Regulation Act, 1906,' be by this resolution brought into operation within the Kairanga County, and thereafter remain in operation within the said county."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, JULIUS ROMISON and JOSEPH JOHN HARLOCK, carrying on business as Manufacturing Confectioners at Hanover Street, Dunedin, under the style or firm of "J. Romison and Co.," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of July, 1908, so far as concerns the said Joseph John Harlock, who retires from the said firm.

All debts due to and owing by the said firm will be received and paid by the said Julius Romison, who will continue to carry on the said business under the same name as heretofore.

BOROUGH OF ROSLYN.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough of Roslyn proposes, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1905," to execute a certain public work—namely, the providing of a site for a hall and public offices in the Borough of Roslyn—and for the purpose of such public work Section 21, Kaikorai Township, containing by ad measurement 34 perches, is required to be taken.

And notice is further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the public office of the Council of the said borough, City Road, Roslyn.

And the Council hereby calls upon all persons affected to send to the Council, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, a notice in writing setting forth any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land.

NELSON CITY ABATTOIR.

THE following is the Scale of Fees to be paid for animals slaughtered at the Nelson City Abattoir, situate at Stoke, which has been registered as the abattoir within the meaning of "The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900," for the City of Nelson, instead of the scale of fees contained in the notice dated the 1st day of November, 1907, signed by the Acting Town Clerk, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 5th day of December, 1907—

Calves .. .. .. 0 10
Pigs .. .. .. 2 6

which fees shall be payable to the Manager before removal of the carcase in respect of which the same shall be due, and may be recovered without any previous demand having been made therefor: Provided that the Manager may, with the consent of the Council, allow monthly accounts to approved regular customers, in which case the fees shall be paid at the Town Clerk's Office, Nelson, on or before the 15th day of the month following that in which the fees became due.
