Description of Land.

This allotment comprises the site of the Tekapo Hotel, situated on the western side of the Tekapo River, between the main coach-road and the lake.

TERMS OF SALE.

One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with Crown-grant fee (£1) and the value of the improvements, within thirty days thereafter, otherwise the part of the purchase-money paid by way of deposit shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land be null and void.

Situated on the east bank of the Karetu River, about four miles from Loburn, and twelve miles by good road from the Ashley Railway-station. About 20 acres consists of alluvial river-flats, the balance open undulating land, of which about 80 acres is ploughable. The soil is a sour clay, and carries vegetation of bracken, manuka, tussock, &c.

NOTICE having been lodged with me by Teieti Hoera, of Waitara, Taranaki, that he has taken Rori Watene, a child of Rangi Watene and Hana Watene, to be his adopted child, and a certificate by a Judge of the Native Land Court, as required by Regulation No. 6, having been received, it is hereby notified that the said notice of adoption has been duly filed and registered.
