Notice of Half-holiday (for Boys under Eighteen Years of Age and Women) in the Borough of Blenheim under the Factories Act Amendment Act, 1907, Section 15.
WHEREAS a poll of the electors of the Borough of Blenheim has been taken on a proposal that the weekly half-holiday provided for by section 33 of “The Factories Act, 1901,” should be allowed in that borough on the same day as the day appointed as the statutory closing-day for shops in that borough: And whereas a majority of the votes given at such poll were in favour of the said proposal:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of subsection (2) of section 15 of the Factories Act Amendment Act, 1907, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, hereby give notice that from and after the 3rd day of August, 1908, the half-holiday (for boys under eighteen years of age and women) under “The Factories Act, 1901,” shall be allowed in the Borough of Blenheim on the same day as that appointed from time to time as the statutory closing-day for shops in the said borough, instead of on Saturday.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section two of “The Towns Main Streets Act, 1902,” I, Robert McNab, Minister of Lands, do hereby authorise the laying-off of The Parade, Ocean Road, Wellington Road, and Tilley Road, in the Township of Paekakariki Extension No. 3, Wellington Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft. each, instead of 99 ft. as prescribed by section 17 of “The Land Act, 1892.”

Times during which Offices of the Supreme Court shall be open.
WE, the Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, in exercise of the power in us in this behalf vested by section 32 of “The Supreme Court Act, 1882,” or otherwise howsoever, do hereby revoke the rule and order gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette of 1st March, 1883, and do hereby make the following rule and order:—
The several offices of the said Court throughout the Dominion of New Zealand shall be open daily, except on Sundays and holidays, and except also as hereafter mentioned, from 10 o’clock in the forenoon to 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
On Saturdays the offices shall close at 12 o’clock noon.
During vacation the offices shall close at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, except on Saturdays, when the offices shall close at 12 o’clock noon.
This order shall come into force on Monday, the 10th day of August, 1908.

In the matter of the Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1907, “The Land Drainage Act, 1904,” and “The Local Elections Act, 1904.”
I HEREBY give public notice that at the election of a Trustee for Owhiro, Momona, Lee Creek, and Lakes Subdivisions respectively of the Taieri Drainage District, held this 20th day of July, 1908, the persons hereinafter named were candidates, and received the number of votes set opposite their names respectively, that is to say,—
