Trustees for the Macrae’s Public Cemeteries appointed.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
DAVID PEDDIE and
EDWARD GAY TAN
to be Trustees in the place of Thomas Peddie and Samuel Slater, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Macrae’s public cemeteries, in conjunction with William Edwin Griffen, Charles E. Griffen, Joseph White, James O’Connell, and Peter Gifford, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Ohakune Town District, County of Waimarino.

CHARLES WILLIAM RITCHIE, of Raetihi,
to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first election of the Commissioners of the Town District of Ohakune, County of Waimarino, as constituted under “The Town Districts Act, 1881,” and to be the person to prepare a roll of electors for the purposes of the said first election; also to appoint Tuesday, the 11th day of August, 1908, to be the date, and the Ohakune Town Hall, at Ohakune, to be the place, at which such first election shall be held; and also to appoint Tuesday, the 18th day of August, 1908, at 7.30 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the time, and the said Town Hall to be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Commissioners shall be held.
