Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon and vested in me by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities me thereunto enabling, and in accordance with the recommendation of the Aotea District Maori Land Board aforesaid, do hereby remove and revoke the restrictions now existing against the alienation of the said land, so far as to permit the same to be mortgaged as aforesaid.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece or parcel of land, containing 516 acres, more or less, known as Awarua No. 3A2E No. 3, situate in the Ohinewairua Survey District, and comprised in a partition order of the Native Land Court dated the 28th day of May, 1904, subject to the restriction that the said land shall be “absolutely inalienable.”

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Opening Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided in section one hundred and thirty-six of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Wednesday, the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892.”
