Lands taken for Road Purposes in Block X, Linkwater Survey District, Pelorus Road District, Marlborough County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block X, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough County :
And whereas an agreement has been entered into with the owner of the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto to take such lands for the public work hereinafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the lands, as required by the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the said road in Linkwater Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of an approach to Donnelly’s Creek Bridge, in Section 1162, Block II, Totara Survey District :
And whereas an agreement has been entered into in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act to take such land for the public work hereafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act :

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, with the consents of the owners of the land hereinafter mentioned, and with the consent of the Wellington City Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, do by this notice hereby proclaim as taken for a road the land in Port Nicholson Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
