Special Order made by the Council of the County of Egmont.

THE following special order, made by the Egmont County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” in substitution for that already gazetted on page 1724 of Gazette No. 48, of the 25th June, 1908.

COUNTY OF EGMONT.
Special Order making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and the amendments thereof, the Council of the County of Egmont hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400 (such loan being 10 per centum additional of the original loan of £4,000), authorised to be raised by the Council of the County of Egmont, under the above-mentioned Act, for rebuilding the following bridges—namely, the Oaonui Bridge, Main South Road, Rahotu Riding; the Waiteika Bridge, Main South Road, Rahotu Riding; the Waiaua Bridge, Main South Road, between the Rahotu and Opunake Ridings; the Ouri Bridge, Eltham-Opunake Road, Oec Riding; the Oeo Bridge, Eltham-Opunake Road, Oeo Riding; the Ouri Bridge, Skeet Road, Oeo Riding—the said Council of the County of Egmont hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/10d in the pound upon the whole of the rateable value of all rateable property in the Egmont County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a special order made by the Council of the County of Egmont at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 8th day of May, 1908, and confirmed at a subsequent ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the 12th day of June, 1908.

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Copy of Special Order made by the Onehunga Borough Council on the 25th May, 1908, and confirmed on the 24th June, 1908.
THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £16,400, authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council, under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of constructing extensions and additions to the existing waterworks in the Borough of Onehunga, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 10½d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Onehunga—bounded towards the north by Mount Smart Road; towards the east by Section No. 17, Suburbs of Auckland; towards the south by the Manukau Harbour; and towards the west by Section No. 13, Suburbs of Auckland: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
